BREDS Foundation enhances partnership with Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation
The BREDS Foundation of Jamaica, dedicated to improving the lives of people in Treasure Beach and surrounding communities through sports, education, and community development, recently celebrated an expanded partnership with the Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, the BREDS Foundation played a pivotal role in relief efforts, receiving a generous donation of $35,000 USD from Helping Hands. Of this amount, $10,000 was allocated to Munro College, while $25,000 supported the recovery of the BREDS Sports Park.
As part of their collaboration, BREDS will provide Helping Hands with access to office space at the BREDS Source offices in KingFisher Plaza on an as-needed basis. Looking ahead, BREDS and Helping Hands are preparing for a major outreach event in January 2026, planning to bring 100 volunteers to Treasure Beach for community service initiatives, including a new school build.
This event will mark Helping Hands’ 20th anniversary, celebrating two decades of building schools and transforming communities across Jamaica. Since its founding, Helping Hands has constructed 27 schools and supported initiatives to fight food insecurity and create scholarships for students.
BREDS continues to lead the way in community transformation, working alongside partners like Helping Hands to create lasting impact and positive change in Jamaica.
