Immediately following Hurricane Beryl on July 3, 2024, MycoMeditations launched a GoFundMe campaign dedicated to the reconstruction of Great Bay. Initially, the campaign aimed to raise $100,000 USD. Thanks to the generous support of donors and an anonymous MycoMeditations alumnus who pledged to match donations up to $50,000 USD, the fundraising goal was subsequently increased to $150,000 USD. Additionally, Jamaica’s National Commercial Bank Foundation contributed significantly by matching a substantial portion of the donations.

To date, the campaign has received 483 generous contributions from MycoMeditations alumni and donors totaling $150,706 USD. These funds have played a crucial role in the recovery and rebuilding efforts in Great Bay.
