Katamah Guesthouse Reopens Post-Hurricane Beryl
Katamah Guesthouse reopened as of September 1st and is excited to be officially welcoming guests back to its serene beachfront sanctuary in Treasure Beach, Jamaica. After the challenges posed by Hurricane Beryl, owners Moni, Simon, and their dedicated team have worked diligently to restore and enhance the property, ensuring a welcoming environment for reconnecting with loved ones, oneself and nature.

Originally opened in 2011, Katamah offers nine thoughtfully designed rooms, comprising 3 king-sized suites, 3 queen-sized rooms, and 3 cozy cottages.

Each space is nestled amid lush tropical gardens, with captivating Moroccan inspired décor that blends comfort and relaxation. Guests can also enjoy modern amenities such as free high-speed internet, a cozy lounge area with a pool table and games, and beachfront patios perfect for soaking up the sun or watching the famous Treasure Beach sunsets.
Katamah’s summer rates (May 1st to November 15th) range from $90 to $150 USD per night, while winter rates (November 16th to April 30th) vary between $150 to $250 USD per night.
For those looking to extend their stay, the guesthouse offers a special discount: guests staying for four weeks or more between May 1st and November 15th can enjoy a 30% discount on their booking.
In addition to its charming rooms and suites, Katamah offers beautiful beachfront spaces, including covered seating areas and day beds by the sea, as well as a screened-in dining room for relaxing meals. The guesthouse’s prime location allows guests to easily explore Treasure Beach’s vibrant community, with local favorites like Eggy’s, Frenchman’s Bay, Jack Sprat, Smurf’s Cafe, and the Wise Wellness Center just a short walk away.
As part of its ongoing upgrades, Katamah has unveiled the new Hold-A-Vibz Café in September 2024, and by Christmas 2024, guests can enjoy a brand-new air-conditioned gym alongside a refreshing pool facility.
With the dedication and passion of Moni, Simon, and their team, Katamah Guesthouse is ready to offer an unforgettable, rejuvenating experience on Jamaica’s stunning South Coast.
