The Treasure Beach Rum Bar Crawl, Saturday, November 7, from the Jack Sprat parking lot.

The Treasure Beach Rum Bar Crawl was a smashing success at the inaugural Food, Rum & Reggae Festival, held in November 2023 and hosted by Laura Henzell. This year it is on again during the festival, on Saturday, November 7.

The crawl is more than a tour of bars. It offers a real insight into Jamaican culture: in the local bars of Treasure Beach, patrons have parties, play dominoes, and as the waters flow, the tall tales get taller! You have to experience it first hand to grasp just how important a fabric it can be for a community. At the same time, remember to crawl responsibly.

Back in 2023

At the first festival, the Bar Crawl ran from 3 to 6 pm on Saturday, November 11, and the party and cocktail mixing carried on all through it. Here it is, circled, on that day's programme.

The Treasure Beach Food, Rum & Reggae Festival's programme for Saturday, November 11, 2023: tours, music, food and rum all day; a reggae breakfast buffet at Smurfs; tours from 9 am to Pelican Bar and Appleton; music and rum from 10 am; Capt Dennis beach lunch, 11 am to 4 pm; the Yaadman Gas and Sealand Foods cook off, 12 to 1 pm; the midday reggae party, 1 to 3 pm; dinner at Jakes by visiting chef Eric Jansen of Blackfish; and the Jesse Royal concert at Jack Sprat, gate opens 8 pm. Treasure Beach Bar Crawl, 3 to 6 pm, party and cocktail mixing continues during the bar crawl, is circled in red.
