About

Robert Wright is a self-taught wood carver who has been living in Calabash Bay for the past 40 years. He worked as a maintenance keeper at Doubloon Villa, and started to develop his carving skills there. He is famous for his jewellery boxes with wooden hinges. He now owns a shop full of his crafts in Calabash Bay: go and visit Artisan Wood of Life, and he will explain everything about local wood.
